REMOTE SUPPORT

Remote Tech Help

Practical support with one defined Windows, supported email, printer or software issue.

Is this the right fit?

Something that normally works is giving you trouble.

One clearly agreed task, with patient guidance and practical next steps. Available to home users, students, sole traders and small businesses on the same straightforward terms.

What’s included

  • One agreed issue on a Windows computer.
  • Troubleshooting a supported app or email setup.
  • A printer software or settings issue, if the printer is powered on, already connected and reachable.
  • A clear explanation of what was checked and sensible next steps.

What’s outside this appointment

  • Physical hardware work or connection faults requiring equipment work; ask for a separate repair or setup quote.
  • Account ownership bypass. Data-transfer or backup projects are separately quoted.
  • Active fraud, a suspected cyber incident or specialist malware removal.
  • Enterprise administration or ongoing managed IT support.

Before we start

  • Have a working internet connection and be able to use your computer.
  • Keep the affected app, account or connected printer available.
  • Know which one issue you want help with and back up important files.

How your appointment works

  1. Choose the right service

Read what’s included and tell me the one task or issue. If you’re unsure whether remote help is suitable, email first.

  2. Arrange the right appointment

Computer Care & Safety Check has an online Calendly calendar. Remote Tech Help and Setup & Getting Started are arranged on request; a request is not a confirmed appointment. Use the booking page for the current route, check the service, total GBP price, time zone and cancellation information, and wait for the appropriate confirmation before treating a time as agreed.

  3. Connect with me

Joining instructions are emailed before your appointment. Stay at your device and only accept the connection you are expecting.

  4. Understand the next steps

I’ll explain what was checked or changed and any practical follow-up. A remote appointment cannot guarantee that every problem will be resolved.
