A clear cancellation policy.

This appointment refund policy applies to the three fixed-price remote sessions. Quoted repairs and projects receive their scope, payment and cancellation arrangements before you commit; statutory consumer rights remain protected.

Cancel before the appointment

Email hello@bytova.co.uk with your name, service and appointment details. You can cancel at any time before the session starts for a full refund of any appointment payment. You do not need to give a reason. If a provider cancellation link is available, you can use it, but email is always an option.

Your 14-day consumer cancellation right

If you are a consumer booking at a distance, you generally have 14 days, starting the day after the service contract is made, to cancel without giving a reason. Tell me clearly that you want to cancel by email or post. You may use the model form below, but you do not have to.

If you are acting mainly for your trade or business, the statutory consumer cancellation right may not apply. Bytova’s full refund for cancellation before the session starts still applies.

If you want the service to start within 14 days

I can start during your consumer cancellation period only after you explicitly request this before work begins. Please email the request below with your service and appointment details. This email also records your acknowledgement that the right to cancel ends once the service is fully performed.

If you cancel after an early start but before full performance, a proportionate amount may be payable for the service actually provided, only where the required information and request have been given. The right is not lost simply because work begins.

If no valid early-start request has been received, I will contact you to agree a later start or a cancellation with a full refund. A website tick box alone is not treated as a saved early-start request.

After work starts, missed appointments and changes

If you need to stop a session or cannot join, email as soon as possible. I will discuss the work already provided, any rescheduling and any refund due, taking your statutory rights into account. A missed appointment is not automatically treated as non-refundable under a blanket rule.

If I cancel an appointment before it starts, you can choose a new time or a full refund of the appointment payment.

How refunds are made

Any refund due is made without undue delay and within 14 days of being told of the cancellation, using the same payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. No refund fee is charged. Where a lawful proportionate charge applies after an early start, I will explain the calculation.

Service quality rights

This policy does not remove your rights if a service is not provided with reasonable care and skill or as agreed. Please email me about a problem so I can investigate and discuss the appropriate remedy.
